FAMILY•Pregnancy

29 Weeks

April 8, 2013

Okay so I know it’s been a while, but I’ve had reason….

I’m still on modified bed rest, plus baby’s room is a MESS right now. Like, bad. So, instead of the cute chalkboard, you shall get an instagram photo of the latest bump πŸ˜‰ My apologies, and hopefully the mess will be cleaned up next week!

How far along? 29 weeks pregnant! (+4 days in the photo)
Total weight gain: 8 pounds.
Maternity clothes? very minimal, because they’re hideous. These Old Navy tank tops, this Old Navy dress (wearing it in the photo, I loooooove it!), a cute striped dress from H&M, and the striped top you saw in this post. πŸ™‚
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: As good as it’s going to get. The peeing every 3 hours is great preparation for a newborn, I tell ya.
Best moment this week: Getting sweet presents for Landon in the mail from a some incredible friends! And having another dear friend come spend some time with me, cook for me, and help me with a few things while I’m laid up on bed rest. I couldn’t believe her kindness. Aaaaand having yet ANOTHER good friend bring me sweet treats and some sparkling cranberry apple juice πŸ™‚ I have some REALLY wonderful people in my life. So, so blessed.
Miss Anything? Ummm, yes. Being outside of my house. Although I can’t complain too much, at least it’s not strict bedrest.
Movement: This kid doesn’t stop. My stomach looks like it’s convulsing the majority of the day.
Food cravings: None.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Gender: BOY! :D
Labor Signs: No, but how weird will it be when this is a β€œyes?”
Symptoms: My ribs hurt. I blame my short torso.
Belly Button in or out?  Halfsies.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy…how can I not be? πŸ™‚
Looking forward to: My maternity session with Tiffany Farley. You can see other photos she did for us here. My session is going to be EPIC, I tell you. EPIC. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas! EEEEKKKK!

I have some maternity fashion tips coming your way this week, so stay tuned! πŸ™‚

Yes, I’ve looked on here before! I’m just super picky with maternity clothes…I would rather invest in some key pieces and make my nonmaternity clothes work for me! Posting some fashion tips later this week! πŸ™‚
