My Shabby Chic Baby Shower

I’m calling this my “shabby chic” baby shower because it was decked out in burlap, toile, hydrangeas and everything that reminds me of the shabby-chicness I love 🙂
 

One of my best friends threw me such a gorgeous baby shower a few weekends ago. I’m still overwhelmed by it’s amazingness! It was so wonderful seeing my friends (who I haven’t seen in quite some time now since being put on bed rest), and I so enjoyed celebrating my little man. And the best part? My husband and friend surprised me with a visit from one of our other close friends who lives in Florida! I haven’t seen her in over a year, and miss her terribly so it was quite the surprise! I cried, she cried…it was so so wonderful 🙂 I enjoyed spending the days after with her as well..like old times!

The cake was handmade by my friend and was the most delicious chocolate raspberry cake ever! There were yummy lemon frosting cupcakes for dessert as well, along with a chocolate fountain, the most AMAZING cookies (Carol, I’m looking at you!), and mini strawberry shortcakes!


Take home favors included my favorite sugary snack (gummy bears!) and an Essie nailpolish in two different shades of blue! So cute!



Burlap, hydrangeas, and lace lined the tables.




Four close friends, three of us being pregnant at the same time! So fun!

Bracelets: Stella and Dot (Julep Bangle, Renegade Cluster Bracelet)

It has been so fun celebrating the Little Man!! A huge thank you to my friends for a BEAUTIFUL shower! I am feeling so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people in my life 🙂
