I meet a lot of patients in my line of work, and I’m especially partial to the elderly population. I love to ask them their secrets to staying young, being married for 30+ years, raising 4+ children without going insane, etc etc. I think they enjoy me asking too, because it usually results in a lengthy conversation 🙂

I recently asked a 96 year old patient her secret to looking so freaking amazing at her age (I swear, she looked 70 tops.) Her response? “Faith and happiness.”

And that got me thinking. I have been way too stressed out lately. So, I think my Type A self is going to attempt to take that cute little old lady’s advice. Can you relate?

I think I may need to invest in a lot of wine and chocolate.
