I saw this quote on Pinterest a couple years back: “Autumn, the year’s last loveliest smile.” Autumn in New England is just beautiful. I may not appreciate it until a month in (I’m a summer girl through and through), but I do enjoy all things pumpkin spice (typical), the changing leaves, pumpkin picking, soups and stews, fall fairs, and all of the other things that encompass the fall season.
But here’s what I don’t love about it.
It means winter is around the corner. Guys, I think I need to move somewhere this is never an issue. I recently bought Landon the cutest camouflage snowsuit from BabyGap and all I could think was that I should probably buy one too because I can’t keep my child inside all winter just because his mom hates anything colder than 50 degrees. Last winter was easy! He was young and didn’t know any better! That’s not going to be the case this year. And if I know my son, he is going to LOVE the snow. Do they make cute snowsuits for moms? Someone link me to them. Maybe I’ll feature them in a fashion segment here on the blog, HAHA.
For now I’ll enjoy the fall and this perfect fall outfit. TJMaxx is really on their poncho game right now, so run to your local store! Or buy this similar one from Old Navy (which is 25% off with code SAVE right now!) And these gorgeous tartan scarves are all over the place this year, but this one is only $16.99 from Target! These are two essential fall items for your closet!
Have a fantastic weekend!
