Is there one thing in your home decorating you always forget about? For me it’s lighting. I have no idea why, as that’s kind of a big deal in 2014.  I always focus more on overhead lighting than I do soft table or floor lighting. So when Kenroy Home contacted me on reviewing their product I thought, well clearly they know what I’m lacking!, and graciously accepted.

I never fully completed Landon’s nursery (remember, all the bed rest? And now there’s all the toddler), and a side table lamp was something being waited to check off my list. I had yet to find one I really loved for the space. I wanted something nautical but not (<—because that makes sense!), and everything I found was way too much for my liking. When I saw the Foster Table Lamp from Kenroy Home, I knew it was the perfect fit!

I love that the Foster Table Lamp is minimalistic, yet stands out with it’s sleek silver lines. It’s reminiscent of a captain’s telescope tripod, and I like that it infuses the nautical look without going overboard.

I could not be happier with how it looks!

I’ve also been searching for the perfect floor lamp for my favorite little living room nook. I like to think that when I have free time (HAHAHAHAHA) I’ll curl up here with a cozy blanket and a book, so I wanted the perfect reading lamp to set the scene!

I love the brass look of Kenroy Home’s Steward Floor Lamp! Gold is so on trend right now, but I love that this isn’t a bright gold and therefore is timeless! It’s the perfect size for a small nook, and I love that it’s noticeable but doesn’t take away from the overall look of the space.
