We had an unexpected break in the bitterly cold weather the other day and saw temperatures above 40 degrees. I did a happy dance, even though it had rained, because 40 is better than 20 with a windchill of below zero!!!!!! So feeling a little springy, I pulled out this gorgeous kimono from Loloelle Boutique since I’m sure I won’t see it again for quite some time.
This outfit is very fitting for my cheerful mood lately. I’ve had a few friends check in with me to see how I’ve been (relating to my miscarriage 3 months ago and the loss of my grandmother), and my current answer is: better! I don’t know if it’s the new year or the wonderful opportunities I have coming up, but I feel a spring in my step I haven’t felt in some time! The little blog here has been such a blessing during this because I’ve been able to direct my thoughts into improving it for all of you lovely readers. I’ve also been trying to stick to CrossFit 4 times a week, which has really helped too. And of course, Landon is always a huge part! I’ve been able to be home with him a little more, and I’ve felt significantly less stressed with work. I’m so grateful I have these things to pull me out of my poor mood! That being said, I’m really excited with what’s coming up here on the blog, and I know you’ll all love the multiple giveaways I have planned for you! Think of it as a way for me to say thank you for always being a listening ear. 🙂
Happy Wednesday!
I love it. I’m really into the longer lengths this season. This would also be really fun to wear as a coverup over a black bikini!
Ohhhh you’re so right! It REALLY WOULD! Good thinking, Claire!
This look has be wishing it was spring! Love it!
