Maternity Style // High Side Slit Maxi Dress August 6, 2015
Dress: Forever 21
Shorts: c/o A Pea in the Pod
Shoes: Old Navy sold out! (similar gladiator sandals here)
Hat: Target
Bag: Lulu Bags
These high side slit dresses have been popping up all over, and I really wanted to try to make one work for pregnancy. I kept this look simple, as I feel the high slit is a statement in itself. I love the look of denim shorts peeking out, so I naturally chose to wear my favorite maternity shorts. These shorts have definitely put in some work this season, and I’m hoping to transition them to fall as well!
My panama hat has also been a summer staple, as are these gladiator sandals. Shoes and accessories are two items you never have to worry about styling during pregnancy. There’s rarely the question of “can I wear this while pregnant?” so I find myself buying them more than clothes during the 9 (really 10) months! Shop more fun hats and gladiator sandals here!
Oh and our moving date was bumped up again………….seriously guys, I’m never moving again. I give all you military families that move every few years major credit (my husband experienced this as a kid). It sucks!

Love how you styled the dress with denim shorts. Such a cool maternity look! Also have those sandals, they’re the best.

I haven’t found a gladiator sandal that’s super flattering on me yet. They always cut my ankle at weird spots, but man are those cute! I might have to give those a try 🙂 I’ve been on the hunt for a necklace like that too, where’s that one from??

The necklace is old, from Target! 🙂

Good luck with moving! It’s already difficult with no pregnancy but just more to think about when you are. You will be fine.
Thank you for joining TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you Thursday.
