This weather has been totally crazy, with negative numbers one day and 50s the next. Basically I’m over the cold and it needs to stay in the 50s consistently. I’ve decided the winter months are not for stay at home moms with little kids (or at least, ME). We’ve been trying to find things to do in the area, but ultimately I miss the ease of packing everyone up and going to the beach. I also miss my playground workouts with Landon. I miss our routine.

It’s normal to feel that way, right? Ultimately, I think I’m just not used to being a mom of two yet. I don’t have our groove down, and I know it’s because it’s so frequently changing at the current moment. I’m very much looking forward to a couple months from now when I can bring both kids to the playground and let Landon run around while I wear Noelle. I’ve been researching double jogging strollers and I’m stuck between the BOB Revolution SE Duallie or the Baby Jogger Summit x3 Double. Any mamas out there have opinions on one or the other? I need to buy one, and SOON, so I can get us outside and moving again the second the weather warms up.
Speaking of things to do, we recently went to the children’s library and naturally Landon had a toddler tantrum during their playtime. I can handle myself pretty well during his tantrums, but this one mother kept giving me a look. And you know the look. Not the “I’m totally sympathizing with you!” look, the look like “What the F is wrong with you and your kid?” look. Why are we still doing that? Why can’t us moms be on the same team? Do dads do this too? It’s mind boggling to me. Anyways. I just needed to comment on that. Because I’m sure one of you has experienced this too! It needs to end, I’m over it!
I threw this outfit together on a whim, and liked it enough to share it with you 😉 This vest is hands down my favorite piece of clothing ever, and I found an almost identical one here! You can see how I styled it previously here and here while I was pregnant. Also, insider tip: search for that Free People top on Ebay and you’ll find it half price. You’re welcome!

Good luck with deciding your stroller. This look is cute. I love the utility vest.

Beautiful Lauren! I love reading your thoughts. I know that you are an incredible mom. It saddens me that us moms can’t be on the same page. Who are we to judge each other and our journeys etc. Anyways! Keep going, you are amazing. I want to comment on the fact that your photography is always so consistently amazing. I look forward to the day that mine can look half as good. Much love my dear!
