Maternity Style: Black Dresses September 6, 2017
If i’m being totally honest, date nights are super slim around our house. It’s not that we prefer them that way (who does?!), but scheduling, finding babysitters, and everything else that comes with it can be daunting at times. But with baby #3 on the way, Pat and I decided we REALLY need to make more of an effort because it’s going to be even harder when he arrives! I wore this adorable dress on a recent date night and today I’m sharing the perfect Maternity Black Dresses with you!
Maternity Black Dresses
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Dress: c/o Matron Saint // Shoes: Sole Society // Bag: Clare V. (similar version, and cheaper!) // Watch: Daniel Wellington
I love little black dresses because they’re versatile enough for date nights, cocktail parties, or even weddings. Many of you have asked for some great maternity dress options to wear to events like this, and I feel like black is ALWAYS the way to go. You can switch out this look with dressier heels and statement earrings for wedding attire, or even dress it down with some flats if your feet are killing you 😉 I love fancier necklines like this off shoulder style, too!
My suggestion for the perfect little black dress: find one that hugs your bump. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, ladies, so show it off! I also feel like it’s the one time we can wear bodycon style dresses and not worry if we ate too much, know what I mean? 😉
This particular black dress is from Matron Saint, and actually comes in other colors if you want to mix it up! I absolutely love the fit, and it would work after pregnancy as well (bonus points!).

This helped me so much!! None of my cute clothes for me anymore and it’s kind of depressing:/ now I can go out buy something I feel good in and fits!! Thanks for sharing this valid information.
Agreed with your blog. Pregnant women always feel uncomfortable with normal maternity clothes. They need something to make them look quite stylish yet comfortable. Thay’s why many clothing companies are making the stylish maternity clothes in a vast amount of variety like maternity tops, bottoms, dresses, jumpsuits etc.
