A Simple Way to Display Holiday Cards November 29, 2018
Thank you to Minted for partnering with me on today’s post!
Confession: I REALLY love giving and receiving holiday cards. I know what it is (maybe because it’s fun mail and not a bill?) but there’s just something special about holiday cards because it means someone was thinking of you when they sent it! Good old fashioned snail mail is never a bad thing 😉 I love displaying holiday cards as much as I love receiving them, too. It’s so special to fill our home with photos of the people we love most. Today I’m sharing one SUPER simple way to display holiday cards with you!
There’s really not much to this display, it’s that easy. Simply get a wide ribbon of your choosing (3-4″ wide), and cut it long enough to fit several holiday cards. I tie a knot at the top, and hang it from a small nail along our vintage cupboard we have in our living room; but you can hang it anywhere you choose! When we receive a card, we simply staple it to the ribbon. That’s it! Easy, right?
We actually received our first holiday card in the mail after I shot these photos, but I used our personal holiday cards from Minted as an example! We’ve been using Minted for our cards every year for over five years because the designs are unique and the quality is unmatched. I also love that their designs are sourced by a global community of independent artists. I chose the Gilded Holiday Pine with the Latte background by Susan Moyal this year because I thought the layout was so beautiful. We also added a little “birth announcement” on the back since we never did that when Austin was born.
My favorite part about Minted is they will print your return address and addresses from your saved address book right on the envelopes for you. You can even order stamps that match the card! All that’s left to do when the cards arrives is simply stuff and seal. They make it insanely easy, and my cards are done in minimal time every year.
I rounded up some of my favorite holiday card options from Minted for you in case you’re still planning your cards! They have a large variety of beautiful options, and I always have trouble selecting just one.
