Biossance Spring Sale Favorites

March 25, 2020

I shared about a new favorite skincare line, Biossance, late last year, and I’m still using many of these products to date! Biossance products are CLEAN and formulated without parabens, synthetic fragrances, and other questionable ingredients. They’re also vegan, cruelty-free, and EWG-verfied (which is huge!). They’re having a spring sale, so I thought I’d share my favorites with you!

Everything is 20% off with code SPRING20!

Connecticut life and style blogger Lauren McBride shares her favorites from Biossance, an EWG-verified clean beauty skincare line.

SQUALANE + PHYTO-RETINOL SERUM: I’m frequently asked which retinol product I use, and before this..NONE. I’ve been breastfeeding or pregnant the past 7 years and haven’t been able to add it in! One of my friends recommended this plant-based retinol by Biossance because she said it works incredibly well. It gives the benefits of retinol thanks to bakuchiol (a plant-derived form of retinol), and it helps tackle fine lines and wrinkles without causing any irritation, redness or dry skin that is often associated with retinol. It can be used in the morning AND at night. Just be sure to apply an SPF at the end of your routine in the morning!

SQUALANE + VITAMIN C ROSE OIL: I REALLY love this Vitamin C serum. As you know, my skin has been a little angry with my dermatitis and this is the one Vitamin C serum that it’s been okay with at the moment. It’s gentle, yet effective, and I feel like my face looks brighter and firmer with it’s use. The squalane adds some hydration, too!

SQUALANE + PEPTIDE EYE GEL: I absolutely LOVE this eye gel. It’s SUPER lightweight, yet ultra-hydrating. It helps the appearance of dark circles and puffy eyes without being greasy (which is great if you have oily eyes like me!). I just ran out after several months, so I ordered it during this sale!

SQUALANE + MARINE ALGAE EYE CREAM: This eye cream lifts, brightens, and smooths the eye area instantly! It’s super hydrating without being greasy, and it’s perfect for dry or oily skin in the winter. The pink huge helps brighten the eye area (I’m all about that!). I also particularly like that it doesn’t make my concealer cakey or creasy when worn under it!

SQUALANE + OMEGA REPAIR CREAM: This cream is perfect for dry skin! It deeply moisturizes, yet doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy. It has omega fat acids, cermides, and lipids that are formulated to mimic the skin’s natural barrier. It’s also great for traveling, too, if your skin gets super dry from flying!

SQUALANE + GLYCOLIC RENEWAL FACIAL: This all in one peel, exfoliator, and mask is BOMB. It has glycolic, lactic, malic, and tartaric acids to help renew and brighten the skin, while fine mineral spheres help gentle polish away dead skin cells. Your skin is left feeling SO smooth, soft, and hydrated from the squalane and hyaluronic acid. It’s one of the best masks I’ve used! A great weekly mini facial!

I also added their best selling lip balm to my order, so I’ll report back on that too! Don’t forget, everything is 20% off with the code SPRING20!

You use the SQUALANE + PHYTO-RETINOL SERUM while breastfeeding? I am trying to add in something but I am still nursing.

Eye gel/eye cream? Do I really need both? Which one?

Nope, just one! I explain the differences in them, I would just go with what better suits your needs. I was simply explaining that I tried both of them!
