I’m so excited to kick off out #GetMovingWithLMB challenge today! Before I explain, just know this challenge is meant to be FUN, EASY, and NO PRESSURE whatsoever.
During a time where we are all staying home, it’s important to keep our bodies moving not only for our physical health but our mental health, too! That endorphin release helps me so much throughout the day and turns my mood right around. My hope in this is to inspire you to keep your body moving, however that might look for YOU!
This weekly challenge will consist of moving your body 4 times a week for 30 minutes. Every week, I will choose a random winner from those who participate! Joining in is super easy!
First, save this printable image to your phone! You’ll need it to upload to your Instagram stories so I can see what you’re doing! (there’s also a printable one at the end of this point if you want to hang it on your fridge!)
Second, get moving!!! This can be anything you want it to be. It doesn’t need to be an extensive workout, although it can be if you choose! It can simply be dancing around the kitchen with your kids, walking your dog in your yard, riding bikes in your driveway…don’t overthink it! This isn’t a get-fit challenge, it’s just a challenge to move your body during a time where we are pretty sedentary while being in our home. The goal is to do this 4 times a week for 30 minutes!
Next, upload that image and type in what you did! Tag me @laurmcbrideblog on Instagram with #GetMovingWithLMB either daily or weekly in the image (your choice!). You can also tag me in you stories on what you’re doing to get moving! I’ll share them in order to inspire others with new ways to get moving, too!
At the end of every week, I’ll select one random winner to send a gift card to over on Instagram! This is just a way to bright some light to darker times as we get through this together.
