We’ve been going stir crazy around here with all the recent snow (every. freakin’. week), and this past Monday we just needed OUT. I’ve realized just how challenging it can be to entertain a toddler indoors every day when it’s too cold to be outside. As it turns out, letting them run around Toys R Us is a good option. So if anyone local finds me roaming the aisles aimlessly, you know why! 😉
I bought these Sorel boots last year, and truthfully I don’t know why I waited so long. They are 1000000% necessary if you live somewhere there’s a lot of snow. I love how they look with this camel and black outfit, and that they keep my feet warm. This poncho was styled once before here, and I love how it can be thrown over an outfit for extra warmth. Layers upon layers upon layers will be very necessary this weekend in the North East! Overall I love this look because the camel poncho really adds some neutral warmth to very basic black pieces. Plus, it’s incredibly versatile (which you know is important to my wardrobe!).
Have a great weekend, loves!
Such a gorgeous outfit! I like the striped tee under the poncho and that you stuck to neutrals. I almost bought those same boots but I must be in between sizes because they didn’t fit quite right. It’s a bummer because they look amazing!
Oh noooooo. Well, maybe go for the larger size? And wear thick socks?! Worth a shot!
Love this cozy look! Beautiful photos – so happy to have discovered your blog!

Thank you Heidi! Happy to have you here 🙂
Aww, you look so cute in that poncho and the beanie! Hope the weather gets better over there. I don’t like the heat and I am feeling guilty that your side of the country is taking all the bad winter weather. LOL Stay warm!

Thanks Rachel! It’s as boho as I can be in the snow! lol.
I keep eyeing Sorels. I think next winter they will be mine. I’ve tried to hold out in my Hunters but man, my feet just freeze! Thank you for sharing on Found & Foraged! And on an aside, I’m doing my first style photoshoot this weekend! YEAH! If you have any tips, I’m all ears. A bit nervous!
They’re soooo worth the investment, especially if you live somewhere you’ll be using them! Okay so style photoshoot tips??? Be natural! And go during the “magic hour” which is the hour before the sun sets! It’s the best time for lighting! Good luck! 🙂
Your photos are beautiful with the snow and the trees! I’m loving this cozy, layered look!
