Mom + Baby // DIY Memory Photobook

August 9, 2016

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you remember from this recent post, I talked about my love/hate relationship with technology and how I wanted to create a tangible way for Landon to keep his memories from childhood. This project is SUPER easy. I promise minimal crafting is involved, but there’s the potential to be super creative if you feel like being a Pinterest mom that day. πŸ˜‰

DIY MEMORY PHOTOBOOK

Supplies Needed:

1 Scrapbook from your local craft store

Fujifulm instax camera

Tape, glue, or what have you

Other items to decorate with (stickers, pens, markers) if you feel creative πŸ˜‰

Fujifilm2-4

Guys, this is so simple my dog can do it. I picked up this scrapbook in the wedding section of my local craft store. I browsed the actual scrapbook section but really wasn’t crazy about the book covers. I decided to stroll a little further into the store aisles and was SO excited to find this in the wedding aisle. I love that it’s neutral with some simple twine as a closure. I grabbed two, one for Landon and one for Noelle.

Using the photos Landon has been taking with our Fujifilm instax camera, I helped him tape down each photo to a page. It was so cute seeing him look at the photos and remember our trip to the beach that day. I plan on writing the dates down on each photo, and then having him decorate the pages with stickers and crayons during our next rainy day inside.

I love that the instax camera is easy to throw in my diaper bag and carry with us on whatever adventure we embark on that day. I plan to help Landon take some photos each time and then have him put them in his memory book along with other things he acquired from the day (a train ticket, a park pass, etc). Super simple and cute, right?

If you’re local to NYC, stop in and check out the Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop in the Flatiron District! It’s part retail store (you can pick up one of these cameras!), part print center, and part interactive workshop. You can attend a DIY class and even print photos right from your smartphone! In the meantime, be sure to follow the Wonder Photo Shop NYC on Facebook on Facebook!
