I am #morepowHERful because I went from having an easygoing part-time office job to volunteering 40+ hours a week in construction work, and I love every minute of it!

  2. I am more powHERful because I choose to embrace all my flaws and imperfections instead of picking apart myself from head to toe.

  3. I love this post! Is it still considered a post partum body of my twins are two and a half ????

After having two kids, I have finally learned to accept the “flaws” both of my pregnancies produced. I now focus on keeping my body happy & healthy instead of dwelling on the imperfections & that makes me feel powerful 🙂

  5. So well said and so true. The pressure society and we put on ourselves is amazing. I’m currently pregnant with our second and so happy and blessed but I can’t help but think about how much weight I’ve already gained how gonna look after and so on. My main focus is a healthy and happy baby girl and as long as I keep telling myself that I hope that will be enought to push the bad thoughts away!

  6. Amen. It’s so true, so hard and a constant struggle to face reality and accept that reality in the present time. The NOW. Speaking of hair: I used to have ringlet, ringlet, ringlet (get it?) curly hair and now it has 0 curl after our child was born 2 years ago! Insane what pregnancy does to women.

  7. What makes me more powHERful? Being able to feed a little guy with my body! And, still managing to manage a household with two kids and a husband.

Love your blog post! So true!

  9. Beautifully written. Just perfect.

  10. I wish women would stop beating themselves up and be embarrassed or pretend they didn’t just push a living, breathing human out of them. Cut ourselves some slack for real. Some women “bounce back” and some women don’t. But we’re all women. We’re all moms. And we all have post partum bodies whether you want to admit it or not. Good post!

  11. Thank you! I needed this.

  12. This is great!!! It so true!! After two kids I have a mommy body. This was such a good read. Thank you.

  14. Soul cycle makes me #morepowHERful

  15. Thank you for writing this. As a first time mom, Instagram has done me no favors in accepting my postpartum body and this really helped 🙂

  16. I love that you got so personal. My body definitely changed so much after my first pregnancy and I’m currently pregnant with my second baby now. I’m interested to see how much more it will change after I give birth but I’m ready for it all. After all, the reason for all the changes are well worth it.
