I’d never tried organic makeup before, and The Choosy Chick was kind enough to send me some Au Naturale Organic Makeup to review! I had some fun creating this simple beach bronze, summery look and was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Au Naturale line.

To create this look, I started with my normal base of It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream and Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer, finished with Too Faced Primed and Poreless Powder. On my eyes, I applied Au Naturale Creme Eye Shadow in Palma using an eyeshadow brush (you can also use your finger). Then I used Au Naturale Eyeliner Pencil in Coco to lightly line my upper and lower lashes. I used Au Naturale Eyeliner Pencil in Night to tightline my upper lashes and also applied it to the waterline of my lower lashes. I went back in underneath my lower lash line and in the inner corners of my eyes with the Creme Eye Shadow using a pencil brush for precision. To finish my eyes, I used two coats of my favorite mascara. I then slightly contoured my cheeks with Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer, and also went over my forehead and nose with it for an added bronzy look. Using a stippling brush, I gently applied Tarte Cheek Stain to my cheek bones. I then swiped some Au Naturale Organic Creme Highlighter Stick to the tops of my cheek bones, and gently used my finger to blend. Finally, I used Butter London’s LIPPY Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon, first in Teddy Boy and then layered with Tea with the Queen, on my lips and called it a day!
This look is a little bronzier than normal for me, but I love it for the summer. And I was seriously impressed with the Au Naturale line! The Creme Highlighter Stick proved to be my favorite 🙂 I’ll be using that a lot more this summer!
