What’s your preference for the holidays – dressy or casual? Mine all depends how I’m feeling that morning! Sometimes I’m in more of a dress up spirit, and other times I just want my comfy pants! I’ve got two different looks for you today, both from Nordstrom, that fit both of these categories. These Easy Holiday Style looks will keep you comfortable, yet stylish for the holidays!
This All in Favor Cozy Ribbed Midi Sweater Dress is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I wasn’t sure how it was going to fit, but it is so flattering on! I love the looser fitting top, the more fitted bottom, and the midi length that hits perfectly mid shin. It’s also so incredibly soft and cozy, making it incredibly comfortable to wear while being a little dressed up. It comes in a variety of colors, but I absolutely love the Brown Heathered. For sizing, I suggest your normal size! I’m wearing an XS here. It’s perfect for the season, plus it’s nursing friendly! And the best part is it’s $55!
I styled it with these Marc Fisher leopard booties I had from last year (still available!), and linked some similar options below in different price points for you. If leopard isn’t your preference, simple black or tan booties work too! I love that this outfit is fairly simple, but elegant for the holidays!
For a slightly more casual and comfy look, I am ALL about the Spanx Leather Leggings. These leggings are so versatile and probably my most worn pair of paints during the fall and winter season. I also love a good pair of stretchy pants for all the holiday food (like Joey’s Thanksgiving pants! Bonus points if you get that reference!)! For sizing, I suggest going up one size and also getting them in petite if you’re around my height (5’4″). The petite fit me so much better in the length!
I styled them with this beautiful Caslon Mock Neck Sweater that is perfect for leggings because it covers you in all the right areas! I find it fits true to size and I’m wearing an XS here in the tan camel color. The website says it runs large, but go with your normal size! I added a puffer vest on top as my outer layer (these keep me super warm!).
I recently added these Marc Fisher LTD Izzie Genuine Shearling Lace-Up Boots to my wardrobe and I absolutely love them. I love their rugged look with the lugged sole, and I’ve been wearing them nonstop since they arrived. I love how this outfit is put together, yet comfortable for the holidays!
