Style + Travel // Kid-Friendly Connecticut Shoreline Fall Activities

  1. We’re taking a trip to Connecticut next month! (no kids this time-) We’re from Oklahoma, where the weather is 90degrees until november and we have like 2 weeks of fall and then horrible icy-snow storms.. Although- i recall wearing shorts last Christmas… regardless of the ever changing weather here, we never have a good and proper fall. So this year the husband and I are taking a trip through CT to get our fill! I love these activities and even though we’re going without the kiddos this time- most of these things really appeal to me! We looked into the steam train and river boat in Essex earlier this month, but the two days we’ll be there they aren’t in operation! what luck! 🙁 we’ll just have to come back again. 😉

Thanks for the list! We’re sure to add a few of these to our must-do’s.

  2. We hit up Bishops this weekend and grabbed some pumpkins to kick off the season – also some hard cider and donuts! I’ve been looking for other things to do with our little guy so this post was helpful!

Hi! What color is this sweater they grey or tan? Thank you!!

  4. Fall is the BEST! I already love going to pumpkin patches, apple picking, etc. on my own so I can’t even imagine how much fun it must be with adorable kiddos : ) Would absolutely love to experience fall on the east coast!
