I’ve been in the process of changing over my closet from winter to spring, and I swear it’s like Christmas all over again when I come across clothes I forgot I had. Especially when I was unable to wear them last year being pregnant! This flowy top is one of those pieces. I purchased it on sale from Nordstrom last year and only wore it once before I felt like it made me look like a tent with my belly. I’m all for flowy clothing during the second trimester, but this top made things look a little too large! Now that the bump is no longer, I’ve been enjoying wearing it to cover that postpartum belly (which I’m still working on!).
Top: Nordstrom // Jeans: American Eagle (similar) // Shoes: Soludos // Jacket: Old Navy // Bag: Sole Society // Watch: Daniel Wellington (only $89!)
This top is nursing friendly too because it’s flowy enough to act like a cover up, if that’s your preference. I love that this look is casual enough to run around after kids, and still makes me feel put together. I will admit, the necklace came off due to grabby little 4 month old hands. I totally forgot about that age! Also, this bag is almost identical to the uber expensive Chloe bag and only $65. I LOVE it, and it’s officially my spring bag! I highly recommend if you’re obsessed with that bag but can’t afford the mortgage payment it costs! 😉
