I am truly having a blast with maternity fashion this time around! It’s starting to get hot in CT, and I know pregnancy will only make me feel hotter (case in point, I cut my workout short yesterday because as you fellow CrossFitters know, there’s no AC in the gym! Mama got way too hot even with a fan and I called it quits mid-WOD. Baby first!) I have a feeling I’ll be living in maxi dresses the duration of the summer!
This paisley maxi dress by Jessica Simpson from Destination Maternity is the perfect addition to any prego’s closet. The black and white paisley pattern make it neutral, and can therefore go with anything! I decided to throw on this cargo vest from TJMaxx and some chunky wedges for a casual look. But I feel like it can totally be wedding appropriate too with some stilettos! (if you can manage while pregnant!) It’s a great investment piece because it can also be worn postpartum…it’s actually perfect for those of you who may have summer weddings right after baby arrives and you still have your jello belly! I am allllllll about comfortable, flattering investment pieces in a wardrobe!
In other news, we have two additional showings (one is a second showing!) on our condo this week. Having your house on the market SUCKS, guys. There’s no other way to describe it! Fingers crossed an (appropriate) offer comes our way!

Smart choice to listen to your body! When my box moved, I was secretly hoping for air conditioning and the owners laughed at me when I asked them for it. I figure no harm in trying. Good for you for continuing your workout. My gf is 37 weeks and she is still doing CF and is crazy strong and still RX her workouts. It really inspires me to try harder.
