This is like the ULTIMATE mom outfit. There are soooo many days I just want to wear leggings because they’re so much more comfortable in jeans, ESPECIALLY on days I’m running around after Landon (aka, EVERY DAY.) I still want to look somewhat put together, but also feel comfortable enough to chase him. This “semi-casual” outfit is perfect for that! Let’s break it down:
Leather leggings: A step up from your standard leggings with the leather paneling. Automatically makes you look put together and not like you’re in yoga pants. Win!
Gray shirt: Covers up stains well. Enough said.
Cardigan: Covers your butt in leggings (a necessity for me). Also makes the basic shirt look less basic.
Flats: Perfect for running around. Because that’s what you do after a toddler. Specifically a boy toddler. A. Lot. Of. Running.
Beanie: Covers the hair you don’t feel like doing (even though it’s done in this picture!). You get what I mean 😉
See? It’s a step up from yoga pants, but not super dressy and totally appropriate for doing all the mom things. OR, if you’re not a mom, for not looking like you just rolled out of bed after a night of partying 😉 (I don’t know what that is anymore!)
But really, I love this neutral outfit and will definitely be wearing it again!

Is it okay if you wear mom outfits without being a mom yet?! Haha! I wear something like this almost every day to work (my workplace is super casual) because it’s so comfortable yet it still feels put together.
