Spring Shoe Trends: Sneakers

Today is the last installment of our spring shoe trends with Rack Room Shoes! And we are talking about one of my favorite trends…sneakers!

It’s no surprise that most moms will tell you sneakers are the way to go. Especially boy moms (where you at?!) Little boys are crazy! And filthy. And I love it. And during the summer months when we’re at the park, there is no way I’m running after my child in flip flops. Not happening! I recently changed up my work schedule, and I’m currently home Monday through Friday and working weekends only. A small sacrifice, but ultimately it’s better for our family (and I’ll be saving $ in daycare especially when baby #2 is here). So therefore, I’m home so much more with Landon! I try to get us out of the house daily because he needs to get out all his energy. We are lucky to live by the beach and multiple gorgeous parks, so we frequent those areas often. Sneakers are a must for the playground!

What I love about my Chuck Taylors is they can be worn with ANYTHING. For example, the outfit you see above. I’m always in mom-mode, but there are definitely days (especially with my growing baby bump) that I just don’t feel like wearing jeans or shorts. I love throwing these sneakers on with a casual dress! They are a staple in any woman’s closet, for sure.

And how cute are the little toddler Converse?! I love how hipster they make Landon look! I chose this navy blue pair because he spends the majority of his time outdoors in the dirt and these won’t get stained. He loves them!
