Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be teaming up with Rack Room Shoes to talk to you about spring shoe trends! Today it’s all about the wedges!
Wedges have my heart for so many reasons. First, they can make even the shortest person look like they have the longest legs. The added height gives a slimming effect and makes you look like you have legs for days. Second, they’re SO comfortable. The one thing I took away from college physics was that wedges are a more comfortable shoe because the bottom has a greater surface area for weight distribution, as opposed to a heel. (Yes, that’s the one thing I took away from the class 😉 Physics wasn’t my thing, but you can talk chem to me all day!) Third, they are so versatile! They can be worn with dresses, shorts, boyfriend jeans, rompers…options are endless, making wedges a great addition to your spring wardrobe.
I’m loving these Steve Madden Eddyy wedges you see in the photos above. Not only are they super comfortable, but I love the added detail of the gold zipper as well as the cork wedge. I think the cork detailing makes them look even more spring-ready!

Yes! It’s so perfect!
So I was looking at the pictures thinking how awesome the outfit was and thinking, “man I wish I could afford to wear clothes that great” and then I got to the bottom where you put that you got them at Target and TJMaxx!!! So I instantly decided I need to stalk you on all forms of social media, because if you know how to dress so well on a budget, I really need to learn from you. 🙂
