Holiday Gift Guide: Beauty November 29, 2017
Thank you to Avon and Colleen Rothschild for sponsoring today’s post!
Today’s post is all about a holiday gift guide for the beauty lover in your life! I’ve compiled a list of some of my personal favorite products, as well as some items that I think make a great gift. There’s a variety of price points, and something for everyone! Happy shopping!
1 // Clarisonic
Always a favorite, you can’t go wrong with a Clarisonic. I love the way mine leaves my face feeling, and it’s a important step to my skincare regimen. I personally use it only at night, and I prefer the Radiance brush head. Little tip: there are 3 versions of the Clarisonic, the Mia 1, Mia 2, and Mia Fit. The Mia Fit is the most expensive but also most compact. But in all truthfulness, they all do the same thing (with the exception of a few different speed options or buzzing to signal when to move to a different area of your face). If you’re on a budget, the Mia 1 or Mia 2 are just as good!
2 // Avon Beauty To Go 8 Piece Set
This little Avon Beauty To Go travel set is perfect for the girl who’s frequently traveling! The carry case is the perfect size, and it comes with everything you need including skincare, makeup and perfume. I actually LOVE the eyeshadow palette included – it’s their Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Mocha Latte which looks good on nearly all skin types!
3 // Native Deodorant
Maybe this is a little weird, haha, but Native Deodorant is an all natural deodorant that’s an inexpensive gift! They’re really great for the gal who’s looking to switch to more natural products. I talked about how I switched to Native deodorant right here, and I’m still loving it after all this time!
4 // Anything Colleen Rothschild
I’ve mentioned my love for Colleen Rothschild products before, and her products make incredible gift ideas! You can’t go wrong with any of her face masks (which I shared about here), and she also offers amazing candles if you want to avoid skincare products! She recently sent me her Haight-Ashbury candle and it’s HEAVENLY. Otherwise, my top recommendation would be her Radiant Cleansing Balm! It’s great for all skin types, AND safe during pregnancy. She also has a variety of holiday gift sets!
5 // Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara
Including this because it’s my current favorite mascara and a simple gift idea under $30! You guys know my other favorite was It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara, but I recently switched to this new one by Lancome after watching a QVC segment on it and I am HOOKED. I use it daily and it makes my lashes long and voluminous. It’s a great gift for a friend, and also makes a great stocking stuffer!
6 // t3 Whirl Trio Curling Wand
You guys already know the t3 Whirl Trio Curling Wand has been my new favorite hair tool, and it’s makes for a great gift due to the price point! If your family or significant other is asking what to gift you with for the holiday, this is a great item to send their way!
7 // Beauty Blender and Cleanser
The Beauty Blender is my favorite little sponge to apply foundation with, and it’s a simple stocking stuffer or under $20 gift to give a friend! Grab the Blender Cleanser as well…you’ll need it for cleaning the sponge!
8 // Sigma “Basic Eyes” Brush Kit
A good set of brushes is always a great gift for the gal who loves her eyeshadow! My beauty blogger friends love these Sigma brushes, and I know good brushes really make all the difference in eyeshadow application.
9 // Jo Malone Perfume
Perfume always makes a great gift because it’s pricey and not something we typically buy for ourselves! I’ve heard great reviews on this Jo Malone Perfume, and it’s actually one of the items I may grab for myself this year! There’s a variety of scents, but this one sounded lovely to me.
10 // Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder Tres Invisible Dry Shampoo
You know I’m on the hunt for the perfect dry shampoo, and while I haven’t tested them all yet I can tell you this one by Bumble and Bumble is my absolute favorite! Guys, I can go 4-5 days without washing my hair which is a record for me. It does NOT feel greasy, at all, if you apply it at night! I’ve been struggling with damage to my hair from our well water, so I’ve been trying to cut back on washes as a result. This has really helped!! It’s under $30, and worth every penny. They make a small travel size too if you want to test it out!
A Jo Malone fragrance wuld make such a beautiful gist! Thank you for sharing, I am in dire need of inspiration xxx

I’ve always been a fan of Lancome mascara and this one is their best ever. Easy to apply, doesn’t clump and adds volumes as promised.
Does the dry shampoo leave behind a white residue? As a fellow brunette, I’ve experienced the gray hair look after using some dry shampoos. Thanks!
It doesn’t!!!
I love these finds! It’s nice to have some higher-priced and lower-priced for variety. I always struggle with stocking ideas, but a beauty blender would be a perfect addition for that!
