All Natural Easter Egg Dye

  1. I remember soaking onion skins in boiling water. Leave the onion skins in there as long as you can, preferably at least a few hours. Then, put the eggs in. They come out beautiful. They almost look like they’re made of wood. Give it a try!

  2. Love this. I bet red cabbage and turmeric would also work. And with the turmeric, replacing the vinegar with baking soda would subtly change the color (from yellow to orange, or vice versa… i can’t remember the direction right now).
