  1. Yasss! We love our radio flyer trike. I’d love a balance bike for my little girl! These are some great ideas for summer activities!

  2. Our little red wagon was a central character is my childhood. We’d spend summer days pulling each other around the yard and the neighborhood, and that thing did double duty as a garden helper too!

  3. I can’t wait to just enjoy time with my kids! Morning walks and splash pad are top on my list.

  4. Love radio flyer! I still have my old wagon that my husband fixed up for Julia our little one!

One of our summer adventure stories is taking all the kids camping and taking all the bikes with us so we could go and ride some of the trails around the lake. It was so much fun!

This is a great list! Even not having kids means you want to do those fun activities you can only really do during the summer. We always try to do a movie in the park, go to the Lincoln Park Zoo, do a beach day, and see fireworks!

  10. My husband and I like to visit Carmel-by-the-Sea at least once per year and do the hiking trail at Point Lobos Reserve. Usually we can see seals.

  11. With my little one just turning one this summer all my mom dreams of going to the splash pad, zoo are park can come true!

  12. I used to love going down the street with my big sister to a wooded area where we built a little hideout with the neighborhood kids. We called it “honeysuckle hideout” and no adults were allowed!

  13. I feel like the weather has JUST gotten warm enough for a summer adventure. This summer we plan to go to a local airport. They have a “fly-in breakfast” – you can sit on the grass and watch planes land, and then go touch them. My daughter is obsessed with watching planes now and I think it will be really fun.

  14. Erika Buck says:

We love to go for walks and play at our neighborhood park during the summer in the evenings. It a nice relaxing way to play as a family. We love to eat outside too.

  15. Awesome summer ideas, thank you! Those bikes look so much fun!

  16. Cute ! I have been eyeing a balance bike for my boys as well .

  17. I was a schoolteacher, so I had the summers off. When my children were young, summers were our favorite times. We did so many fun activities and made so many great memories. My children are both adults now and I miss those fun, lazy days with them.
