  1. I am so happy to read this. Way to go, Noelle!!! Glad y’all are finally getting some much needed rest.

  2. Good for you for finding something that worked for you and your family and for being open with something that so many of us have struggled with! I only wish I had known something like this was available when my kids were a little bit younger!

  3. Thank you so much for posting this. You are giving me hope that I can possibly get babes #1 and babes #2 sleeping through the night by April! (When babes #3 is due!!!)

  4. So glad it worked for you! It’s incredible how lack of sleep affects everything in our lives and congratulations on realizing your family needed something to change. Kids throw us curveballs all the time but hopefully sleep will never be one of them again! 🙂

  5. I totally understand soothing a fussy baby by popping a boob in the mouth ???? At what age do you recommend sleep training?

  6. Wow! You just described my life with my 3 year old and 7 month old. I’m glad it worked so well! How long did it get her to get the hang of naps? And how many nights did it take for her to stop crying when you put her down at bed? I soooooo want to do something about sleep but my 7 Month old does not eat well during the day, I’m worried he actually does need the calories overnight…

  7. I just love the photos here. Too cute 🙂
I successfully sleep trained my both daughters when they turned 11 and 12 months with “How to teach a baby to fall asleep alone” guide by Susan Urban. The guide is just GREAT! Step by step instructions, the method is easy and fast. I thought that sleep training is a long process and apparently I was wrong. With both my girls it took me 3 or 4 days to make them to fall asleep alone in their cribs.
Sleep training with this guide made such a difference for me and my babies! I can really recommend it to other parents!

  8. Also Babycenter’s “Teaching Your Baby and Toddler to Sleep” board is phenomenal for sleep training without spending $$. They helped me sleep train my oldest who was 2.5 years old (4.5 years old now) at the time and waking up for the day at 4-5am every single morning. I also had a baby as well. Brutal! I exclusively pumped my first born for a solid year and she was STTN at 7 weeks old, but when I was getting closer to have her baby sister and we moved into a new house, she started waking for the day ridiculously early. My youngest who’s now 2.5 years old was exclusively BFed and I nursed on demand as well. I knew I didn’t want to make the same mistake with her so with their help, we got her sleeping thru the night 7pm-7am at 11 months old. We nap trained at 13 months old. She was napping on me, nursing for all naps up until that point and I switched her to 1 nap as well since her 2nd nap was taking forever to fall asleep. Plus, I wanted that time with my oldest. We got her on the right wake time schedule with her age, stopped nursing before nap/bed and she learned to put her self to sleep. The hardest for us was the waking in the middle of the night and not nursing back to sleep but we survived. The ladies there are extremely helpful and someone will always answer a comment. Heck, I still go on there randomly if we are having some random sleep situation or I’ll answer a question if I know the answer or have a sleep tip that I know. They were a great support system, no judgement and gave us all better sleep. They give lots of other sleep training advice other than cry it out, like the Sleep Lady Shuffle (which I implemented as well). Anywho, I wanted to mention Babycenter’s board. I know Mom’s go on there asking for help as a last result before hiring a sleep consultant and they ususlly end up not having to. Sorry for the lengthy comment, just wanted to share our story and add the suggestion for your readers ????
