  1. Love the tutorial, thank you! I’m still using a curling iron so it might be time to switch! I’m also a working momma of a 4 month old (whom I love dearly) but holy hair loss…my husband is ready to buy stock in Drano it’s so bad. Any advice on dealing with that? Thanks again, love your blog!

    1. HAHA, yes! The Drano! No advice on saving your hair :/ I just tried to avoid blow drying as much as I can, which is why I started letting it air dry! Not looking forward to when it’s time for round 2! Lol

  2. Excellent tutorial….I love the espression “beachiness” lol

  3. I love this tutorial!! I am glad I came across your blog! My hair is terrible about holding a curl (it’s thick & super straight) but I have never used a wand so I definitely want to give this a try! What is the brand of yours? Also, do you use any products in your hair to hold the waves?

  4. Thanks for the tutorial! I love the comment about being a nurse and not wanting to go to bed with whatever your brought home with you! I was a hospice nurse myself before staying home with the kiddos. Thanks again!

    1. You’re so welcome! I pray I can stay home soon!!! I love my job, but love my son more! 😉

  5. I love this tutorial! I have the same wand and I love it! I was just wondering what temperature do you turn yours too?? Thanks! 🙂

    1. I crank it up allllll the way! Probably bad for my hair, but I only hold it there for a couple seconds anyway!

  6. Thank you so much for this tutorial! Up until now I hadn’t found a realistic beach wave tutorial that worked on my hair at all. I just did this to my hair for a party I’m going to tonight and I absolutely love it! I can’t wait to share it with everyone! Plus, it’ll be super easy for me to do before school in the mornings!

  7. Your tutorial is really good and easy to do, you are also super funny and I enjoyed a ton. I have really thick frizzy hair, is an in between cause it’s kind of wavy but not super wavy and not super straight either, I was considering doing a Japanese straightening but I’m not sure. Do you have any tips? Thanks a lot!

  8. Yes!!! I love how simple you made this. I came here looking specifically for a tutorial on how you do your hair – it always looks great!! Thank you.

  9. Hi, Lauren! I love your styles. May I ask, what heat temperature do you set on your curling wand?

    Thank you!

  12. loving your tutorial, you mentioned washing your hair at night and not blowdrying your hair? What’s your process for that? Do you brush it? Use any product? Towel dry it? or go to bed with it wet? Im interested in your process, as I also prefer to wash my hair in the evenings.
    thanks!
