I apologize in advance for these photos. We didn’t pack our nice camera, and this was taken with a regular point and shoot. Before I realized I would adjust the settings and not use Auto. Whoooooooops.

This past weekend my little family and I traveled to Orlando, Florida for a family wedding. It was Landon’s first time out of the state, and on an airplane! He surprisingly did better than me, but I’m also a hot mess when it comes to flying. It’s pathetic really. Ask any of my friends about the insane anxiety I had up until the trip. :/

We also stayed with some friends in St. Augustine while we were visiting, so I decided to use Rent The Runway again for a dress and save on some luggage space. I had this gorgeous Thread Social dress and Kendra Scott earrings shipped down to my friend’s house the day before the wedding. You know my love for Rent the Runway if you read this post here. All I had to do was find a UPS drop off box, which was actually right next to our hotel, and pop it in the mail the next day.

I received so many compliments on this dress! These pictures don’t do it justice (this was also when we left, Landon had just about had it and was ready for bedtime which resulted in intense whining!). The fit is incredible, so if you’re attending an event in a warmer climate, I highly recommend it! The stock photos on RTR show it with a turquoise necklace, but I chose to wear these gorgeous turquoise Kendra Scott earrings instead. I’ve seen these earrings all over the internet, and I think I need to invest in a pair. They aren’t too heavy and look stunning in person.  And the best part? They were only $15 to rent! I love that RTR is almost like a try before you buy!
