Style // How to Style Western Booties October 10, 2016
I’m sharing #DSW in my life as part of a Designer Shoe Warehouse sponsored series for Socialstars™ #Ad
I’ve mentioned in previous posts that a big part of my fall wardrobe is bringing over those transitional summer pieces that can be styled for the cooler seasons. I’m trying to downsize my closet a bit, so it’s important that I have pieces that can be used for multiple seasons. One valuable wardrobe item that helps with this is transitional fall booties. Western booties are on trend for this season, and I love them for that reason – they’re easy to style and help carry over summer clothing to fall. Keep reading for tips on how to style western booties for the fall season!
With jeans. This outfit is one an easy favorite because it’s comfortable and chic. I kept my styling simple with my favorite distressed denim and a loose-fitting t-shirt. Even though these Chinese Laundry booties are a Western style, the open back makes them a little edgy. It’s a fun and unexpected detail to this look!
With dresses. Western booties add a bohemian flare to whatever casual dress you might be wearing. Add a wool panama hat and a fringe cross body bag, and you have yourself the perfect fall outfit! Add some knee-high socks for extra flare!
With denim cutoffs. The ultimate fall transition outfit, throwing on these booties with some denim cutoffs and an oversized sweater or tee is a fun way to carry summer over to fall. I love this outfit for those abnormally warm fall days where jeans might be a little too warm. It’s also fun for a night out with your significant other because the booties dress up the look a bit!

These Chinese Laundry Katherine Western Booties are perfect for fall and can be found at DSW! In case you missed my last post, DSW is one of my favorite shoe stores because they made online ordering so easy (and it’s necessary since taking 2 kids to a shoe store is not my idea of fun)! I was in a wedding last weekend and the rest of the bridesmaids ordered the sneakers I featured right there as we were getting our hair and makeup done! DSW makes it as easy as that 😉
I’ve gone ONE more beautiful pair of DSW shoes I’ll be sharing with you in a couple of weeks, and they might be the best yet! And in case you missed it, check out my fall capsule wardrobe for moms right here.
