For “This Maxxinista Life” I had to choose two items to style three different ways. I’ve always wanted to try the slouchy trouser trend but was hesitant because I really didn’t want to look like MC Hammer (can’t touch this!). I found this great black pair at TJMaxx that had the perfect amount of “slouch” without being full out harem pants. I loved the versatility they provided!
This look is my casual look featuring these trousers. They are *SO* comfortable, I could sleep in them. I knotted a gray tank at the waist and wore my favorite Panama summer hat to keep it comfy and casual, but added a pop of flair with the fringe bag and gold studded gladiator sandals. It’s the perfect outfit for running errands around town, or meeting some friends for a late afternoon lunch! Or, chasing after your toddler, like me. 🙂

These look so comfy and chic, but I feel as though they never look quite right on me. I love the way you have styled them, though!
Sydney, I never thought I could pull them off either! What I love is they aren’t too slouchy in the crotch area (<---there's really no better word for that! LOL). I really don't like the harem pants that look like MC Hammer, these fit like normal pants but are baggy in the leg and taper down towards the ankle. Anyone can pull them off! LOVE LOVE LOVE the outfit, however since I have an Italian physique lol, the pants wouldn’t look good on me….but I could get away wearing the hat, bag and shoes 😀
Any idea what brand the bag is? I’m loving it and can’t seem to find it at my local TJMaxx.
