For “This Maxxinista Life” I had to style two different TJMaxx pieces three ways. Yesterday I posted one outfit of these awesome slouchy trousers, in case you missed it. Today I’m featuring this gorgeous patterned maxi dress!
I don’t know about you, but I live in maxi dresses during the summer. Here in Connecticut, the weather changes so frequently (even in the summer!), so I love that a maxi is cool enough for hot summer days but also works when the humidity lowers a bit. It’s a summer must-have, and I own way too many of them! But that’s because maxi dresses are SO versatile. Yes, I swear it’s true!
For this look, I added a black t-shirt over the maxi dress to make it appear as a skirt. I simply knotted it at the waist which creates curves, and then added some simple jewelry and casual gladiator sandals. This outfit is perfect for so many casual occasions! I personally wore it for running errands with my toddler…as a mom, sometimes you need to put yourself together to feel normal! 😉 During the photo shoot, our crew didn’t even realize this dress was the same maxi I styled another way…which means I did my job!
Stay tuned to see the other two ways I styled this gorgeous patterned maxi dress! And if you’re wondering, this item is in TJMaxx now! Be sure to check out the TJMaxx Tumblr page for more of my outfits as Maxxinista of the Month!
