I’ve come to the point in my journey in motherhood where I’m really sick and freakin’ tired of carrying a huge diaper bag around.  My previous diaper bag was beautiful but huge. HUGE! Sure I could fit everything Mary Poppins had and more, but I don’t need half of that junk anymore, so really it was just wasted space. I’ve developed somewhat of a system for my diaper bag use, so I’ve been determined to find a smaller bag that can fit everything I need for myself and Landon without weighing 274364910427 pounds.

I’ve been keeping a backpack filled with diapers, wipes, some toys, a blanket, and a change of clothes in the back of my car for emergencies. This eliminates the need to pack extra things in my diaper bag (and let me tell you, has really come in handy!). I wanted a diaper bag that was small enough to be used as a purse, but large enough to fit Landon’s necessities (a couple of diapers, wipes, snacks, water). I fell in love with the entire Lily Jade line because they fit my exact checklist of what I was looking for.

Lily Jade was kind enough to send me their Anna bag in black to try out. It’s absolutely gorgeous, as you can see! It’s not heavy at all (a bonus, because my last bag weighed a ton), and has more than enough room for our needs. In these photos, I’m carrying a few diapers, wipes, my wallet, Landon’s snacks, his sippy cup, a book, my keys, phone, sunglasses, and some lipgloss. Everything fit comfortably with room to spare. I love that the Anna bag had two handles and large strap to customize how it’s worn. I prefer to wear mine with the strap because I find wearing it cross body style is easier when running errands (and less painful on the shoulders and back!). And naturally….I LOVE that it doesn’t look like a diaper bag. It’s really the perfect bag for this point in motherhood!
