I totally get the love/hate relationships with jumpsuits. But I’ve always been a lover. This one actually looks fantastic with no cardigan, but I threw the cardigan on for sake of it being 50 degrees as we were taking these photos (get with it New England!).

The number one question I got asked when I posted this jumpsuit to my Instagram was, “how do you use the bathroom?” I know, I know. It seems like an annoyance. But it’s no different than wearing a romper! I actually prefer rompers and jumpsuits because it’s an entire outfit in out piece. No mixing and matching tops and bottoms. It saves me the stress of figuring out what to wear. The cocoa color of this jumpsuit is a nice neutral, which means I’ll be able to wear it with multiple looks this summer. Some tips for purchasing jumpsuits/rompers:

Stick with a neutral color. Especially if this style is something new for you.

Make sure you try it on. Is it too difficult for you to get in and out of (see above for the bathroom)? Does it fit correctly? Do you fully like how it looks?

Stick to minimal accessories. Because a jumpsuit is such a statement look, don’t over do it with heavy jewelry. I kept it easy with my favorite tassle bracelets, but went simply on the stud earrings and a dainty necklace.

Avoid clingy materials. I feel like there’s a fine line between stylish and just downright WRONG with jumpsuits. Clingy materials won’t be your friend with this look. I promise.

For this outfit, I strayed from my normal Soludos and tried this pair of espadrilles from Shoedazzle. I loooooove them so much! If you don’t already own a pair of flat espadrilles, you need to rectify that immediately. They’re so comfortable and perfect for momming around.
