I’ve been doing a lot of shopping on eBay lately, whether its for my wardrobe or home, and have found some amazing items at great prices! It’s really like a one stop shopping destination for everything you could possibly need. Today I want to share with you some Tips for Shopping on eBay, as well as two great finds I scored, so you can scoop up the best items and deals with ease!

Utilize the categories. On the left hand side of the eBay fashion page, there are a variety of category options to choose from! You can shop by specific clothing category or even by brand. I prefer the brand option because it narrows down the search quite a bit, especially if I’m looking for something specific like these Madewell overalls. It’s how I found the lace Anthropologie dress you’re seeing here! There’s also the option to search specific trends like floral midi dresses or wide legged cropped jeans. This makes the search a little bit easier!

Filter your search. Once you type in what you’re looking for, or select a specific category, filter the search even more. Select your specific size (I always do this so I know I’m just looking at my size only!), delivery preference, and even item condition (like new with tags). You can even select buying format, which is “Buy It Now” or a bidding option. I like filtering down the search so I know exactly what I’m looking at. I prefer to shop “Buy It Now” options because I know I’m guaranteed the item! I also like the New With Tags option because I know I’m getting a brand new item. I scored these Madewell overalls for nearly $50 less than their original price and they’re BRAND NEW!

Be specific with search terms. If you’re looking for a specific item, such as Madewell Skinny Overalls, then type in exactly that. I usually do this when I’m searching for styles that may have sold out on the original retailers website.
