I’ve been getting quite a few repeat beauty questions, so I thought it would be helpful to put them all in a post for you! I’ve had the same products in rotation for quite some time now because they’re my tried and true favorites. All of the items below are available at Nordstrom (I absolutely LOVE their beauty department!) Here are some questions I’m asked frequently about my makeup routine.

What is your favorite foundation?

For foundation, I really love bareminerals BarePro. A little of this goes a VERY long way (I don’t even use a full pump!) because it stays in place ALL day. I swear it looks just as good 12 hours in as when I first put it on! I apply it with a damp beautyblender (PLEASE make sure you use is damp! It’s not meant to be used dry!) and get flawless coverage. I’ve yet to find another foundation that compares.

What undereye corrector do you use and why?

I use an undereye corrector under my concealer to correct the darkness of the area! I love Becca’s Undereye Brightening Corrector. It really brightens and preps the area, and then I follow up with a concealer. Adding this in before my concealer has really made all the difference! I use the lightest shade. It’s currently sold out, so this is a close second!

What do you set your makeup with?

I mentioned several months ago that I switched over the HOURGLASS Veil Translucent Setting Powder, and I’ve loved it ever since. It’s very finely milled, and therefore doesn’t settle into fine lines. I absolutely love the finish of it. I use the tapered end of this HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Edit Brush dipped in a little of the powder to set my concealer under my eyes. I use a fluffy powder brush to apply a little more all over my face! I also spray a little of this Too Faced Hangover Setting Spray when I’m finished with my makeup routine for some extra hold and hydration! I love that it gives an ever so slightly dewy finish.

What are your favorite eyeshadow brushes?

I really like MAC and Sigma brushes! I don’t do a full eye often, but when I do I use a Sigma E55 and a MAC 217. I also recently tried the Sigma E65 which is fantastic for slightly lining your eyes with shadow like I do on the daily. This Sigma Beauty Basic Eyes Kit looks like it has everything you need!

What do you use on your eyelashes?

I swear by Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara! I first curl and then prime my lashes with Lancome CILS Booster Mascara Primer, which I truly feel makes all the difference. Sometimes I like to layer an elongating mascara before then applying Lancome Monsieur Big, but it’s fantastic without it as well! I also really love their waterproof formula.

What are your current favorite lipsticks?

I don’t wear lipstick often – and when I do, I’m applying a gloss on top. I just prefer that hydrated feeling! Two of my current favorite lipsticks are MAC Pink Lipstick in Patisserie (the PERFECT warm nude) and Charlotte Tillbury Hot Lips 2 Lipstick in In Love with Olivia (the perfect pink-nude). I also recently picked up this MAC lip pencil in Boldly Bare. To top it off, I always have Kopari’s Lip Glossy in Clear on hand! It’s great worn alone or to add a glossy finish to any lipstick.
